A workshop facilitated by Jillian-Rae Picco, Thrive’s Content Architect and published author of the official Walking the High Road series, Write with Purpose equips young writers with strategies to enhance their creative writing abilities, attune themselves to their authentic creative voice, and most importantly, to weave a foundation of passion and meaning into their writing journeys.
As a workshop participant, you will find the strategies, activities, and advice she offers not only to be essential keys to your creative future, but also to be immensely practical, relatable, and down-to-earth.
This workshop is a highly insightful experience not solely for writers, but for youth who are seeking a mentorship opportunity to help them step into new artistic risks and become their best creative selves.
Write with Purpose® (WWP) Certification
When successfully completed, workshop participants will leave with an official Thrive WWP® (Write with Purpose) Certification that acknowledges the writer is educated on the basic elements of creative writing, including:
Foundational Knowledge of Prewriting and Writing, the initial steps of the writing process;
Tools for Maintaining Artistic Integrity, such as the ability to curate an authentic, unique artistic voice while simultaneously staying true to one’s values and vision;
Tools for Maintaining Artistic Longevity, such as the ability to self-sustain and maintain resilience on a consistent basis with the fuel of passion, balance, and purpose.
The WWP® Certification can be added to artistic and literary CVs, and is a beginner’s asset for thriving in the world of writing.
